This class practices the foundations of hip hop dance (popping, locking, etc.) with the popular commercial hip hop style, to create a fun and challenging dance experience. Each class consists of warm up, strength exercises and choreography that encompass the style of hip hop. Students will be encouraged to bring their individuality and unique personality into each exercise.
For Intermediate and Senior level students, Hip Hop is a 2 hour class with one hour focussing on Hip Hop technique and one hour dedicated to the necessary strengthening and conditioning for the best execution of Hip Hop dance.
Loose fitting, comfortable clothes. Clean sneakers.
